Description
Vintage Original Bayonne (NJ) Opera House 4-Page Ad Publication for the play from Elinor Glyn's book 'Three Weeks'. Do not know year the play was at the Opera House but book came out in 1907 and guessing this ad is from 1910's. Fantastic graphics on front as the Tiger Skin (with Elinor Glyn) was famous line (for awhile) from the book. Glyn was one of the first to succeed in the romance novel world and push the boundaries on sex and other bad behaviors during turn of century. She eventually worked in Hollywood writing several movie scripts during 1920's and person who famously labeled Clara Bow the 'It' girl. The ad has several pictures of play scenes you can see Glyn laying on tiger skin in pic. The Bayonne Opera House has been gone a long time so this is a nice collectible in several ways. Measures 6" x 9". Condition is good wear along edges and creasing and small tears. Zoom in on photos as part of description. We ship fast and FREE!
